Cluster concept development - A case study from Poland

Abstract

This paper focuses on the cluster concept development in Poland. It depicts policy based on clusters in the country. Furthermore, this research deepens the knowledge about the current stage of cluster development in Poland. On the basis of a sample group of Polish clusters, their characteristics are scrutinized and the good practices and solutions introduced in clusters are distinguished. Additionally, attention is being paid to problems encountered in cluster development under Polish conditions.
