dc.description.abstract | The article will be based on empirical data gathered through the so-called thematic writing, a semi-structured text which will be produced by students. The students of this investigation are enrolled in pre-primary education programme at a university in Moravia. The instruction given by researchers engaged the students in thinking about topics as described in the aims of this research. The texts they produced are a reflection of their subjectivity. The participants (N=23) produced three thematic writings during their three-year-long study programme. The first writing was presented in the first year of the programme, when they started their university education. The second writing was created when they were halfway through their studies. The third writing was produced in the final stage of their study when they were deciding whether they will continue in the master´s preschool education programme or start working as preschool teachers. The study provides the partial results of research which is still currently being worked on with the support of an IGA grant project under the number FHS/2015/04.
