dc.description.abstract | Machinery risk analysis has become more important over the past few years with regard to the design of new machines as well as the modification of existing machines. This analysis also includes recommendations for protective measures to reduce the severity of risks and an evaluation of the effectiveness of these measures. The analysis is quite difficult to perform and is also a laborious process, since it has to be done for the entire life-cycle of the reference machinery. It represents the processing of relatively large amounts of data and information and uses a wide range of knowledge. So as to simplify and introduce a certain degree of automation in the hazard analysis process, a software tool was designed to support these activities - the RIAN program application was designed and implemented in cooperation with FAI TBU, and FME, BUT. It is implemented as a problem-oriented information system that includes generic data, a template of basic manufacturing facility types and also the data of specific production facilities. The database is used to store and ensure the basic management of data. The results of analyses performed are available to the user either interactively on computer screens, or in the form of reports. The application uses client-server architecture and is therefore applicable to supporting the simultaneous work of multiple users. © (2015) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland. | en |
